Hi Tim - re: Mark Shield, thx for the clarification. I wonder why Paul Gogol didn't challenge him. Of course, neither of them mentioned anything about ballot stuffing per se. So, I guess they ve the good taste of not fishing in deep water :)! Personally, I think deep down no one like escalation. But too many spin docs, professional and otherwise. If they are going to court, they'd better have probable cause. FWIW, Mr Daley did back off on that sort of rhetoric today. Sec Baker's veiled threat doesn't sit well with me either. Personally, I tend to agree with Zeev that one mustn't rush into judgement. Even if there is a lot of logistics involved, even for a well transitioned WH in the past, there could very well be a lot of empty spots. I mean, look at Sen Orin Hatch, he has singlehandedly held up so many judicial appointments and no one has said the world is ending. Back to this situation, I am not on anyone's side, so long as they don't ruin my port :)! Otherwise, I will blame both of them for my unfortunate circumstance.
