And the 50% retracement is ~4000. LEAP calls are looking better and better to me. FWIW: The gap in the mutual fund index in IBD is almost closed, as is an NDX gap~ 2850. No one knows the bottem; but looking back from 2005, the screeming voice of reason in my head tells me this is will be viewed as a great buying opportunity... for companies with great management, solid franchises and leading edge technology. At some point the millions of dollars short will become the fuel of the next bull run. Obviously, next years highs will exceed this year lows.
