Not only did the Dems plant the seeds of discontent but they jeopardized the very fabric of the American democracy. After all, as a political contender, one has the right to challenge his/her opponent's victory ONLY IF s/he is 100% sure of his/her own camp's "snow-white" behavior....

Was Al Gore 100% confident that all the Democrats were upright and that his own party was not involved at all in ballot-rigging in other states/counties? If he was not then Al Gore just publicly demonstrated that he's unsuited for the White House. For he opened a Pandora's box while aware of the misconduct of his own party elsewhere in the country and, doing so, he put his backers' private agenda BEFORE the country's sake --that's not a proper behavior for a would-be head of state. Furthermore, why is "Al-Gore-the-winner" keeping such a low-profile? I mean, if he sincerely believes that he won the election then he should stop pussyfooting around (or is that pussyfootballing around?) and HE should be the one coming forth with his transition cabinet and HE should frankly addresses the American people and show them his will to go for the White House. Instead, Al Gore and his henchmen have engaged in bully-boy tactics against the Bush camp --as I said, they no longer are interested in the White House, they're merely scrambling to smear the next Presidency and to undermine Bush's leadership. Just as in the Judgement of Solomon tale, the Dems have given up on keeping the baby, all they long for now is to give him half-dead to GW Bush....

Gus.

THE SEED WAS PLANTED WHEN THE BALLOT WAS DESIGNED AND APPROVED.
