SGI Servers Will Run Informix Databases On Linux Silicon Graphics Inc. (stock: SGI) and Informix Corp. (stock: IFMX) said Wednesday that the Informix database will be available on SGI servers based on the Intel Corp. Itanium processor and the Linux operating system. The companies said they would cooperate to fine-tune the system's performance at an Applications Solution Center near SGI's headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif. techweb.com
