From memory, I believe that the 2800 to 2950 was a big gap up last October, thus everyone is concentrating on "closing that gap. I had the 2950 for the May lows (missed by 100), but right now, you may b right, if we get a black Monday, we could go through that easily. I don't know what will happen, my turnips assumed a simple election with a Bush victory in both electoral and popular vote (that was what the conventional wisdom stated after the Republican convention and shortly after the democratic one as well). Even if I assumed a Gore victory, the general scenario would not have changed and by the end of November, we wer supposed to be around 3650. Well, we got neither. Zeev Zeev
