Gottfried, What a great site for charting - thanks for the pointer. If you want to see something interesting, take that same URL you listed and make the duration 530 days, back to 8 October, 1998. That was the low point for the semi-equips(and some other sectors as well) prior to the runup to March of this year. Notice how lately AMAT has taken it on the chin, and the carnage may not be over yet. During the last several weeks the market has been "killing" the 800 lb gorillas of several sectors (INTC as well). I guess it is called "re-setting the market" for the next rally. At least that is from some of the comments I have read recently.<gg> What I want to know is - where is the bottom??<gg> Best Regards, Don W.
