Problem is, Gore knows he loses without the legal wrangling.

Otherwise, he wouldn't pursue it.

And should Bush do the same? He will only say that he has already won Florida when the votes aren't all counted. How presidential or responsible is that? Or even in reality? It might turn out to be reality, but he is playing a game of "pretend it's mine already".

I'm not in a party but it's hard to stomach supporting a man who wanted to challenge the EC if it went against him and is now trying to force someone to concede prematurely AND when he is losing the popular vote.
