Goepling, thanks, interesting find. Lev also said he has recently been approached by a group of scientists whom had left a large battery company in Europe and were prepared to cut a deal with Lev. They already had financial backing and were seeking a joint venture arrangement.

The situation with Hanil gives me pause. Hanil would have the right to sell outside Korea under a license arrangement. However, the license would not be exclusive in Korea. Samsung would be chomping at the bit, IMO.

I wish short term results and foreword looking statements were more positive. Lev has backed away from implying large short term production goals, probably due to another redesign of the German machine. It might be too early for Pfau to recast 2002 earnings up or down, though. Lev could pull it out of the hat as the shorts complain in frustration. More surprises ahead, I think.

What is a "jv"? I certainly hope we would get some up front licensing fees. Anyone hear anything about that?
