Can you say all of the same things about his national guard record? If all of the things I heard are true I can't understand why the democrats didn't make an issue out of it. That alone would have convinced me not to vote for him. His conviction on the alcohol related charge would not have affected my opinion of him any more than Monica affected my opinion of Bill, which is very little. >>>It was a misdemeanor, and there is no pattern. It absolutely has relevance. It is a part of his public record. This wasn't a parking ticket. It reveals his lack of forthrightness. I guess like you he thought he could get away with not disclosing. That's not exactly that much different from Clinton's MO. And Clinton's legacy is what he claims to be changing. The voters were apparently denied the opportunity to decide its relevance in Texas and nearly denied that opportunity in this election but for the civic mindedness of some Samaritan that brought the country's attention to it.
