You make a solid argument for taking responsibility for one's actions.

I just feel that if a large minority of voters made the same mistake, then the problem is maybe not so much each individual's fault, but a problem with the mechanism (ballot).

I also feel that if these double-punchers did get to submit a new ballot then there should be no basis for complaint in that context. I would hope that most double-punchers did resubmit. That would be good to know.


We are not just helpless creatures, attacked by unseemly ballots.

But Jill, the whole Democrat philosophy is that we are helpless creatures, in every way, manner, shape, and form, and that we must be protected from ourselves by them.
