I doubt that when the election results are final we are going to get a sustained rally, at least half the country is still going to be really ticked off either way. The real problem imo is that the realization that growth is slowing. Earnings next quarter, maybe the next several, are not going to be good.

Long term holders are starting to get concerned here. When you start seeing the value of your holdings drop by more than 50% it doesnt exactly put you in the spending mood. The economy is decelerating at a faster rate than the expansion of the last few years.
