the perception of trying to block a recount
to keep your lead will not play well with the american public.

the contradiction of chastising the democrats for court action, but one day later being the first to take court action.

it looks really bad.

Bush and his supporters have been total hypocrites during this entire election, so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that they would sink a little deeper into the mud to help D-W-I win.
