Hi James, I am female, and I have already addressed your argument. You have to read the Constitution as a whole. Every piece of it that applies to an issue must be considered at once. Some eminent legal scholars were making the same argument in the New York times, and here is why I think they are wrong:

What a stunning result !! If Florida appoints no electors because of legal battles, Gore almost surely wins.
