Fred,
I am positive all of the longs were happy to see back in
Valence. Looking at Valence for many years, I have always concluded, a one product company has severe financial and production limitations on expansion.
It has been my thought for over the last year, Valence will receive buy out offers between now and July 2001.
I would like your comments, as you probably have been closer to Valence, than anyone on this board.
Anyone who wants to comment, please do.
Major Granddad

Fred,
I wasn't kidding when I said you were the main reasons I invested in Valence. I have done very well to date, although like most members of this board, I would have done better if I had sold more of my position with the run up earlier this year and bought it back after the tumble. Boy isn't hnidsight great.
I am glad you are able to buy even a small position at his time. My personal opinion is that there is very limited downside risk at this price. I am not sure, however, how soon we will see the appreciation that most of us expect (and have expected for a long time). In other words I think you may be able to pick up this stock at close to the same price for the next quarter or so. I don't see it running up until we have some regular announcements that show real revenue streams.
In any case thanks for responding to my earlier post and raising my interest in Valence.
Rich
