Brian, Re: I think it unfair if Gore gets a recount in 4 heavily Dem counties and Bush cannot ask for a handcount

Unfair it may be but if this is a county by county rules and they are playing within the rule of the game, people better accept it or else one can bring up the Gore winning the popular vote argument again.

RE:"On the news today(FoxNews or MSNBC), it came out that there was a Republican county with 20,000 votes w/o a selection for President. Whether the machine didn't pick it up or there really was no selection is not known. But apparently there is a 72 hour rule which has passed meaning that they cannot now ask for a handcount there.

I think it unfair if Gore gets a recount in 4 heavily Dem counties and Bush cannot ask for a handcount."

Did you expect anything else from the slimy Daley?
Seems he was gloating about it. Actually his Dad was pretty good at fixing elections or so the story goes...
