Of course they will. Current 1.5 GHz P4 production CPUs are already overclockable by a good margin and availability in retail(!) is decent. We will see 1.6-1.7 GHz in Q1 and >1.7GHz in Q2. AMD won't be able to keep up in terms of Megaherz. However, AMD will be very competitive in terms of performance and especially price/performance. This should be enough for 2001 because of the Rambus disadvantage for Intel. For 2002 better hope that Clawhammer can keep up in raw Megahertz -- that's what Joe Customer is looking for.
