Paul, a rare on topic question for you. What did you think of those Itanium FP scores of a couple of days ago? It appears that a mere 667MHz Itanium produced the highest scores they have ever achieved. Can't wait for higher frequencies and larger caches. In addition I am anxious to see the P4 scores made public. I think people will be impressed.

Why didn't you raise this high moral position on Tuesday evening - around 9:00 PM PST - when CNN projected Gore was the winner of the US Presidential race?

After reversing themselves about three or four times, they lost all credibility as vote predictors.

Once it became obvious that there was reasonable margin for doubt about the numbers, they should have figured out the best position was to shut up and apologize to the country.
