WHAT NEXT?

I have an idea for a T-Shirt with the Palm Beach ballot silk screened on front with Punch Me. I'm for Bush, Gore or whatever<G>. It'll sell millions<G>!

Any other ideas?

New Mexico isn't making the news much here. I have found the process there most interesting and entertaining. Machines that count some votes, misplaced ballots, emergency voting, and web hacking all rolled up in one. It is much more interesting then Florida.

Florida is scary! At first, I thought the state recount would settle things fairly. It sadly did not settle things. The strategy in Florida is now becoming clear to me. Count only the key areas often enough to obtain the desired results while kicking up so much dust, people are distracted or afraid to stop you. Somehow it seems like you should count the entire state by hand if you are going to count some whole counties and part of another county by hand. Politics and emotions are being played with the votes already cast. I fear things are going to end badly, no matter what happens at this point.

The Oregon election process appears to be unique. They seem to be in no big hurry to finalize the count. I read an article today quoting an election official saying a state recount might be in order due to a state recount law.
