Mason you are right. That is why this morning one of the counties is using guidelines established by other states that use punch hole ballots. You are also right is stating that it is totally subjective.

Mason you are right. That is why this morning one of the counties had a press conference and stated they are using guidelines established by a couple other states that use punch hole ballots. Florida has no standards for manual recounts. You are also right is stating that it is totally subjective.

No I haven't look at other statutes. I don't have to. But I do know how legislation is drafted and how regulations are promulgated thereafter. I have partcipated in the process.

And, as for your contention that there are guidelines but no standards, if humans make the final decisions, then there will always be guidelines and no hard and fast standards that require no subjectivity.

Let's call it the day between you and I. We can go back and forth until they kick both of us off this thread.
