I agree with this for the most part. Yes, the market will head higher once this is resolved and it doesn't matter which candidate wins the election. The uncertainty is damaging the market and the world's opinion of the US and the risk of our currency, bonds and equities.

I've criticized you for connecting the recent drop in the market with the some of Bush's proposals. My point remains that the drop in the market has to do with the dispute and the uncertainty, not the policy of one candidate or the other.

I remain solidly convinced that MSFT will do much better with Bush in office than with Gore. I don't believe that anyone would question this opinion. MSFT insiders tell me that Gore 'hates MSFT'.
