Sure, the election makes the markets nervous.. but what money transactions are actually being delayed because of it? Is Congressional spending on hold? Are shoppers being cautious this weekend? Are hiring freezes or layoffs going to result? Has the velocity of money slowed? Then why are fund managers selling.

j.g. I hear what you are saying ... but I have also heard people saying LU would never see 40 ... er .. 30 ... er 20.
Same with WCOM ... no way that could break 30 - doh.

If the word about the telecom credit crisis is true, with either the convertible bonds now 15 - 20% ... or a 'no thanks we don't want your business anymore' tied with companies like CSCO NT LU TLAB etc providing extensive financing terms to maintain their growth rates ... CSCO may well hit the 20's. I for one, would believe anything is possible now - cause things I didn't think I would see have occurred .... and continue to get worse.

JMHO .. fwiw ...
