At this point I'm throwing in my mental towel. Gore
can have this tainted election. Let him suffer the
'slings and arrows' of the next 4 years. We've never
really had a 'shadow president' before...it could be
interesting. To bad the shadow guy will be W and not Jeb.
He's much the better Bush. I hope Mr. Powell doesn't
decide to be a 'healer' and join Gore as his Sec State.
Hope in one hand and shite in the other is all us GOP'ers
seem to be left with. What cabinet job will Bill Daley get?
lolol...

Meanwhile, in Duval County, a heavily Republican area of
the state, election officials said Saturday that about 26,000
votes were disqualified and never counted when voters
punched more than one candidate on their ballot or failed to
vote for president. Bush carried Duval County by more than
44,000 votes out of 291,626 votes cast. So far, no recount
request is pending.

I am completely in shock that the Gore camp has not requested a manual recount in this county as well.

Time for everyone to step up and realize the spin that is being put on, by both sides, is very partisan and the only reason this nonsense continues is both sides want to win. This is no longer about correct counts and the will of the people. This is about winning.

I believe we will see President Gore because he simply is willing to do more than Bush is. If it does turn out to be President Gore, I for one, will not recognize him as such regardless of his title. As far as I am concerned, we will be operating for four years without a President.

And I guess the pretty clearly states my partisan side of this thing. At least I am willing to state it such....
