Jay, The poll you cite conveniently avoids the real issue of whether a hand count should be made, and where will it end. Let's say the hand count gives Gore a slight edge. Then Bush will ask for a hand count in Republican counties, and back and forth. The poll question really should be "Do you think a hand count should be done, despite the fact that machine counts are significantly more accurate and devoid of potential mistake or bias?"
