<<We elect by the EC. If you don't like it begin the amendment process. I think Shrillary would be willing to help you out. >>

There have been 700 attempts to change the system and it still stands. I'd like to see some change so 3,000,000 people in Chicago don't have the whole vote for the 11,500,000 in Illinois. Down state was 55/45 for Bush. Chicago was 95%+ for Gore. That doesn't make sense.

<<NO ONE can say Gore beat Bush or Bush beat Gore by any certain number yet. Many counts are not yet final. And the popular vote is irrelevant. We elect by the EC.>>

As hard as it is to believe .......I concur completely

Re: "And the popular vote is irrelevant. We elect by the EC."

Keep telling yourself that when the Texas Steer enters the White House ... the Second Banana in a Two Banana Race.

Also, what you said ain't what the Republican Executive Committee thought before the election. They even prepared some kind of manifesto in the event that George lost the Electoral College but won the popular vote. But, whoa! No need for that now. So don't give me this crap that the Repubs are the party of the high road. If they were, then Baker wouldn't have challenged the hand count in federal court today. Instead, he would have said, "Let us have the truth."
