I tend to agree with you that Jesse Jackson's street tactics serve no useful purpose at this point. I certainly wouldn't deny him his freedom of expression about those issues that he would raise, but I think they add little to an orderly pursuit of coming up with a precise quantification of the the will of the people. I think an orderly pursuit of these recounts is the right thing to be doing now.

Don't get me started! How ON EARTH Jesse Jackson could be involved is beyond the pale!

Talk about destructive! Its name is Jesse Jackson.

I find your self righteousness totally amusing <g>

Have you considered your own thread where the only opinion is yours and no one else could possibly be right about ANYTHING, unless it matches your beliefs exactly? Really found humor in many of your statements today.

And buy the way, I am non-partisan. And what right do you have to tell me or anyone else what we are are aren't? Or to call someone like Jesse Jackson scum, just because you don't share their opinion. Actually you are stirring up more division and hatred yourself with comments like that. I don't agree with Jackson on many, many issues, but wouldn't sink so low as to call him something like that. He's just another human being who's opinion differs from mine.

There are two sides to everything. Did someone tell you your side is always the right one when you were young?

The reason I believe the recount should take place in a Democratic county is that that was where the biggest ballot problems were. NOT because it is democratic. All counties with any VOTING IRREGULARITIES should hold a new election.
The entire system should be overhauled and redesigned for the 21st century by the next presidential election.

If many people complained they voted for Buchanan instead of Bush due to the faulty ballots, I would still desire a re-vote in that county, so please don't childishly suggest the only reason I demand FAIRNESS and CREDIBILITY in the American voting process is that my candidate has not yet won.

And by the way...neither has yours <g>
