The equity market - which fretted over the election uncertainties to such extremes - seemed out of step with the strong dollar and steady bond market. One reason for this, I suppose, is that there are too many novice players (e.g., inexperienced fund managers and internet traders) n the equity market, whereas the bond and currency markets are mainly the arena of pros.
