Nixon, was a clean-up hitter. One of the best. Would have served the Demos well. Look back to his situation - too many republicans around him. Hell Lyndon would have burned the damn tapes because his advisors would have suggested it and would probably have done it for him one night. Liddy was the only street fighter poor Nixon had, I saw this as his saddest regret. Surrounded by just too many guys in Navy Blue. Hell - think about it, The weight of the entire Republican party with an apparent President Elect and son of a former President - COULDN'T EVEN GET AN INJUNCTION - DEMOCRATS - there would have been many Judges willing to sign one at 4 in the morning. Just listen to the GOP rhetoric tonight - Absolutely no street fight or awareness in them, idealist to the end or should I say, their end.. v
