Hi Paul,

Cable is not available in my area which is amazing as I'm five minutes out of Boston. You help me make my point though in that all these technologies, no matter how many stats engineers can quote, are all new and evolving. There will be room for all. I can probably sell 20 R2 to my clients and friends alone once it gets here.

Again - I'm buying all of major broadband plays on dips (i.e. that means crashes in today's market) - HSAC for cable, COVD, RTHM for dsl, LU and NT for structure and optics.

But my biggest bet is on MCOM --- It just makes sense and from those who have used the old R1 and those who are just starting with R2, they actually have a customer service that cares and is there when you call. I think that makes a big difference.

As I've compared AOL with MCOM in prior posts, I think there is another similarity. That is, it may not be the theoretical state of the art, but it will capture the market due to simplicity, customer care and the fact that it is really there. 3G no matter what you call it is to MCOM like the original internet was to AOL. Almost all the same arguments that bottom shorter BrownFingers and his lemmings make were made against AOL (check it out read the boards from 3 years ago, e.g not state of the art, not fast enough, going broke, no cash, will never break even, chapter 11, etc.)
