I have no problem with Bush exercising his recount rights as well. Nor of protecting himself from onslaughts if they are directed at him. I have no desire to tie his hands and fall on any swords. (Interesting isn't it that he asked Gore to do that though, don't you think?) I guess what I do have a problem with is the pretense that he is taking the high road, while all the while he is playing just as hard ball trying to get leverage and whip up public opinion to thinking he is President elect, when in fact he is not. And it may well turn out that he may not end up being President either.
