Isn't the goal, the most accurate result possible of the measure of the will of the people?

If the people are able to express their will correctly. No one has ever claimed they voted incorrectly and been allowed to go back and change their vote once submitted. Don't you think people have made mistakes voting before? Was their "will" done. No, they exercised their right to vote, but no one gets a guarantee that they will leave the booth with the vote cast correctly. (It shouldn't be this difficult either) If they mess it up and drop it in the box, tough, it should be counted as cast.

This ballot thing is really something. What a bunch of incompetents running the elections in Palm Beach. Orlando has one of the most high tech parks in the USA (WDW), and the south end is still in the stone ages. Pathetic. Or maybe it's that way on purpose.
