ptanner: Thank you for your response...Astounding that so much rides on the outcome of so few votes...The world is watching...Hopefully a graceful resolution can be achieved... I've heard a couple of commentators reference the 1960 Kennedy/Nixon close vote when Nixon chose to step aside rather than fight for a recount as Nixon deemed that course of action as what was best for the country...Hard to believe that the same Nixon could have been impeached in the folowing decade...Not nearly as close, I know, but seems like a reasonable course of action, and perhaps the only gracious course, this time as well...
