<<Bush should ask for a complete hand count. He could have been doing this. He hasn't. Are you going to blame Gore for Bush's inaction? >>

Daley should have asked for all counties to be manual.

That Bush didn't ask in time seems a little bit irrelevant don'cha think? We want the man who got the most votes in Fla to get those electoral votes don't we?........Don't we?....... Best way is to recount'em all. Not just those that will benefit us.

Actually there WAS a hand recount done in Seminole county, which voted for Bush over Gore by 55% to 43% -- people may remember that Seminole county was the last one to report because of the time consuming nature of its hand recount.

The hand recount of selected ballots (presumably only those that showed no votes for president) in Seminole county, resulted in an extra 384 votes for Bush and 286 votes for Gore. As expected, the hand recount vote percentages are very close to the overall actual vote percentages for Bush and Gore, which seems to validate the hand recount method.

Interestingly, the Bush campaign did not object to the hand recount in Seminole county. Also interestingly, the extra 98 votes that this recount produced represent one third of the current unofficial lead of Bush over Gore in Florida.

First, you are a moron. Your post does not address the real issue. You just don't get it. Thats ok, lots of people don't get it. Seems to me they are all pretty much Democrats and they all seem to think its ok to change the rules or tilt the field until you get the result you want.

Use your big brain here. Think before you speak. Try it.

Here it is...are you ready. You have to work here. You actually have to think. It may hurt, but you might get used to it.

Do you want Gore to win because he played a hand in certain areas to take advantage of a given situation. Or do you want to stand behind this premise that what the Dems are doing is fair and maybe lose?

Are you going to rejoice in that you have an honest win if these four recounts flip the total and Gore has the advantage, and...Bush does not have the same recount where he is strong.

If you do select the Gore win, then you care nothing about truth or "fairness", but only that your self interest is served and Gore wins.

Second, Bush wanted to let the chips fall. Now you have the Dems making the point as follows...This is a game and the Dems just played out their hand, and we win (what Daily said in between the lines).

Very sad. If you were smarter you would see it, but I won't count on that happening.

Good luck.
