Well then why doesn't the Republican Party suggest that this be done in all those precincts throughout the nation where the race was close (and they lost) and where "changes could effect the outcome".

Good idea. In fact, the Republicans are doing just that. Fat lot of good it will do them; they can fight for those New Mexico and Wisconsin electoral votes all they want but it won't affect the national outcome, while Florida will. But rest assured that the Republicans are fighting this battle with everything they've got. You can call it contentious, but it is the Republicans who have first taken their contentions to the courts.

For the rest of us, let's just put our party hats on, sit back, and enjoy the circus!

I believe this matter will be settled sooner or later, in the courts or through the Congress! What is important is that this incident has forever changed the way the elections have been conducted. For over 200 years the system worked, because people trusted the system. Now the system is no longer trusted, and in the absence of no other system, then I believe a constitutional crisis is unavoidable. Worse, no matter who wins, the
age of innocence and believing in the soundness of the election system is over, there will be scars that may never heal. A country that taught the world about democracy and fairness can't trust its own system of government!! You are well travelled and do understand what I want to say!
Kind regards
