mailed out ballot does not match the ballot that people were confronted with

Is that why 15,000 some odd people in Palm Beach screwed up their ballots in 1996 as well?

Listen.. the ballot was DESIGNED by a democratic election supervisor.

It was approved by BOTH parties.

They had a sample ballot mailed to them that they could carry into the polling booth with them.

People had the ability to ask a poll employee for assistance.

People had the ability to ask for another ballot in case they screwed one up.

Now I just don't know what else we can do to make it any easier for people. There will ALWAYS be people who can't manage to do things right.

But that is not my fault. It's is not your fault. It is THEIR fault for being so careless or unconcerned about how they recorded their vote.

What should we do?..... Hold their friggin' hands??

One solution I read in the Washington Post today is to reform Medicare in such a way that every resident of Palm Springs gets a free pair of prescription glasses.. (that was a suggestion by a democratic operative, btw... :0)

Gore is a very selfish person. He puts his selfish interest above the best interest of the nation. He doesn't deserve the respect of anyone. His lieutenant, Bill Daley's father, stole the election from Richard Nixon in 1960. I want to spit when I see them.
