Nice summary. A couple of comments:

Williamson County, Texas is a bed of right wing conservatism. You might remember the Apple Computer domestic partner insurance scandal there from 1994.

Also, one area you didn't mention is Colorado. Boulder is a big high-tech area, and votes heavily Democratic. Colorado Springs is the opposite.

I am from West Palm Beach, FL. I thought Orange County, NC is located at Southern California. It could not be in Northern California. I have done an extensive research on this issue. I swear I did not make the same mistake this time.
