"i just want a more balanced unbalanced"

You understand there are really only two ways to accomplish this: exclude or recruit. (Okay, there is surgery or medication as well, so we'll call it three ways).

"i think some objectivity and a balance of ideas would yield more useful information."

Bland's objective opinion is that there are no objective opinions, only comforting pretensions to such (however earnest they may be), and that most non-mathematical human ideas are equally subjective. What constitutes "useful information" is an individual and subjective call made purely for individual and subjective reasons.

"a requirement, no - an objective, yes."

Why, necessarily? To serve what purposes? Polvie's concept of balance is probably the most realistic and human we are likely to achieve anywhere. We should encourage him to keep his clothes on, though.

"i could volunteer to serve the first life term"

That hardly seems surprising, LOL!

No offense intended here, bland is just gently egging you on a little.
