RE: "You are telling half of the story."

Actually, only 1/67th of the story since there are 67 voting regions.

RE: "I can bet you that those mentioned problematic votes(chad stuff) appear through out the states which means there will be votes meant for Bush discovered too."

I wonder how long a hand count of the entire state would take? Aren't these poll workers volunteers (thus, free labor), so if the financial costs aren't too high, why not just do a hand count of New Mexico, Wisc, and Florida, and then be done with it.

Regards,
Amy J

RE:". This is very much in line with the distribution of that county.:

Actually, the precincts picked by Gore to have the recount were probably more like 90-10 Gore.
So if you found say 35 more votes, 31 would be gore, 4 Bush...net 27 Gore...see how that works?
Over all, Palm Beach county was 62-35 Gore. I would expect that ratio to hold over the whole recount. If the find say 3000 new votes (by human interpretation) that 1860 Gore and 1050 Bush, net 810 Gore. Same with the ratios in Broward and Dade which also went for Gore...
If they allow only handcounts in these counties...Gore will win the state...even if the remaining absentee ballots are heavily Bush, IMHO...
