Jill, I think the nasdaq will rally with either Bush or Gore. Right now it is just the uncertainty that is holding it up. A Gore win could lead to lower Oil, drug and maybe tobacco stocks but would not really hurt the techs.
It could lead to a strenghting EURO which will help US high tech companies.

Uncertainty is the big problem. If I see a clear decision in favor of Gore, I am buying calls. All I am waiting for is just the clear decison where one side admits defeat. That will be the time to go way out of the money calls in tech stocks; looking for ones with low implied volatility on the Nasdaq. Same if Bush is declared the winner.

Maybe a Bush victory might be good for the broad market more than a Gore victory. Still, i am convinced of a nasdaq rally in either case.
