The second problem with it is that it is being done selectively Of course it's not fair! The Democrats asked for hand recounts only in counties where they had overwhelming majorities. The Republicans should have done the same! Instead they were parading in front of the media preparing for the transition. The Republicans dismissed the very real PB county ballot problem that cost Gore more than 20,000 votes. The law is the law, they said. Life is tough.
