It is too late to ask for a hand recount of the entire state unless you get a court order or the canvousing board of that county decides to do it. Bush more then likley will have this election stolen from him because they took "the high road" When will America get tired of these kinds of politics. We are right back to what is,"is" Whiteboy

Personally, I think Florida should be placed on presidential election probation. Until they get a valid count going they should send the election officials to continuing education classes. Maybe a seminar on how to set up a clear, user friendly ballot. The voters need to learn the proper hole punching form and maybe a follow the arrow exercise. Maybe make them work out for a few weeks before an election. Just kidding. alan w

Does anyone think that this whole mess would not have happened had the media not first called Fl for Gore? Once they did so, with the returns showing Bush leading the state came under greater scrutiny. Then when called for Bush the scrutiny increased. Now every ballot is to be examined. ALSO - The question remains for me - what is the threshold for recounting the entire state, county, etc. There is a stated threshold - "significant" what are the parameters?????!!!!??? Why is no one offically telling us this?
