Now Greg,

I realize you were hoping for the final word on the Floridian fandango, but I got a PM from a pal and I thought you might like to read about how this is playing in Brooklyn.

Here's the way it looks up in my paisano's 'hood:

I just came from a pizzeria in my neighborhood (Brooklyn has as many pizzerias per capita as Las Vegas has slot machines. Lenny the gimp, a sixty-five year old master of the twirling doughsters often complains to me that "youa canna finda no more Italian who wanna makea pizza anymore..." Working with Lenny is Amin from Eqypt, Ponso who is Mexican, and Billy, an ex-Vax programmer who once worked at Chase Bank until the recession of the early 90s. Oh, and there is Dominic the Donkey (self-proclaimed as such) who is also of Italian descent, but you would never know it for his green hair.

Lenny's theory is that one Governor Bush of Texas has a brother in FL who is also a Governor, and "theresa somma funny bizaness goina onna ova dare." Maybe Lenny is right.

Psst, don't let any of the Republicans hereabouts git their eyes on this, it'll really piss 'em off:

Molly's prediction? Simultaneous concessions. We can dream, can't we?

Best, Ray

"If Bush were so
confident of victory, why would he object to a manual recount?"

Are we really so deaf? Baker said it all.

Manual recounts aren't for accuracy. They're a very old political card trick.
