<font color=Purple>Teddy Roosevelt said : "Men with the muckrake are often indispensable to the well-being of society, but only if they know when to stop raking the muck." "An epidemic in indiscriminate assault upon character does not good, but very great harm." "There should be relentless exposure of and attack upon every evil practice, whether in politics, in business, or in social life. I hail as a benefactor every writer or speaker, every man who, on the platform, or in book, magazine or newspaper, with merciless severity makes such attack, provided always that he in his turn remembers that the attack is of use only if it is absolutely truthful."

Exactly! We're in the "noise" level of democracy, and Gore knows that ballot counting at this level is indeed "fuzzy". New Mexico switches from Gore by 7000 to Bush by 17, for example.

Well, it's unfortunate that some people may have been confused by the butterfly ballot, with its very large letters made especially for the elderly citizens of Palm Beach County. It's also unfortunate that some people in the heavily Republican panhandle decided not to vote after they heard CNN announce that their votes wouldn't matter in this election because CNN projected a victory for Gore in Florida!

Statistical noise can be used in many, many ways. For Gore to be using it to take the presidency is disgusting. Nixon in 1960, Ford in 1976, Ashcroft in 2000 losing to a dead man... Somehow, it seems that only the Republicans put the nation ahead of personal ambition.

These people were recruited. During the day, Tuesday, Gore's people created a phone bank calling their voters and telling them to complain about the ballot. This whole thing is contrived by the liberal Gore group. They incited the problem intentionally. The people complaining were created by the campaign by calling them and enlisting their help.
