gore didn't bring suit in florida. gore isn't an elector, either. he can't help it if some electors vote for him altho elected by bush supporters. they might do so out of conscience, because gore got national vote greater than bush, because of palm beach fiasco, and because of monetary or other benefits given them which are a lot but relatively small compared to money spent thus far on the election.

Reality is the things that are being treated as travesties have been in every election. You could find similar, worse and better, problems in nearly any city in the country if audited. Historically, because they are supposed to be statesmen and world leaders, candidates have accepted the result and conceded if it went against them. Daley's father stole the election from Nixon in 1960 and Nixon, placing country before selfish interest, conceded and refused to pursue redress. Ford, in 1976, was encouraged to have a recount. He refused for the good of the country. Both these men are patriots. Gore is not a patriot. What do you think about trading access to China for contributions? What do you think about a secret agreement with Russia to sell armament, technology to Iran bypassing our agreement not to do that and not advising Congress? What do you think about him consistently putting himself above the law? He is not a leader and I pray he is not allowed to steal this election.
