Ray, then read Morgan Stanley, RHK etc, or determine where VZ, SBC and WCOM are spending their $$. The very fact that GLW is sold out for nearly a year should tell you something. study the generation of metro access boxes that are beginning to generate large sales $$. Many of these will or are using AVNX products. I do agree that some of these players will be difficult to keep at such lofty valuation (JDSU, SCMR, CORV...). The entire sector is not going to disappear. tp

I'd really like to believe that there is more profitability prospect than I'm sensing. I'm not in a rosy scenario kind of mood these days. I want facts. -Ray Ray, listen to NT's and CSCO's conference call, that should quell any doubt, as to the viability, of the build out, of the metro area. Companies are still experiencing 100%+ annual growth, in this sector. The metro sector build out, is the hot growth area, and we are still at the ground floor of hooking up a mix of corp., institutions, and individuals. to the optical platform. This could be very big for a company who's technology, and concept for an open optical system, could become the standard for the industry.
