Honestly, watching that meeting and seeing her stick to her guns and carry the vote made me think that the Republic is working just fine. That is something, I think maybe the whole world may benefit in having watched. I hope that it becomes an example to the emerging democratic movements that changes and conflicts can be peacefully resolved. That there are alternatives to the force of arms. It was a truly impressive display of openness and democratic resolution.
