JDN- The recount is available to all under Florida laws.
If your party mismanaged the rules then maybe it's just as well they lose because they might mismange other rules while in office and we Americans could personally suffer from that. As it is now, only the people who voted for the mismanaging side suffer.

Unfortunately we can't have parallel unverses to see which side does better so we have to go with the evidence before us.
