One final post to consider....From the Denver Newspaper...

<<The Denver Post, in a front-page editorial for Sunday's editions, criticized the Gore campaign and called for an end to the election. The Post had endorsed Gore for president.

``Shame on Al Gore's presidential campaign for threatening an all-out legal attack on Florida's election process if Gore does not win the state's 25 electoral votes in its ongoing recount. Such 'rule or ruin tactics could trigger a constitutional crisis that would undermine the legitimacy of the U.S. government at home and abroad,'' the editorial said.

The newspaper noted that it had not editorialized on its front page since President Richard Nixon's resignation in 1974.>>

Over the years I have been an independent and voted for the best candidate I could find (regardless of the party). This year I am proud to say I did NOT vote for Mr. Gore -- he is going to have to live with the consequences of the tactics used by some of his supporters. Unfortunately, the country is suffering and being embarrassed. We will get through this BUT our democratic system is publicly exposing some its biggest flaws. There were other options but 'the road less traveled' was not taken. Lets hope this election mess is resolved sooner rather than later.

Best Regards,

Scott
