Neat editorial ya put up. RE: denverpost.com

A gripe I have with it is that I'm not at all sure there is shame to be put on Bush for moving to block handcounts in predominantly Democratic counties only, thus picking up for Gore votes that have nothing to do with the butterfly ballot errors. The purpose of Bush's attempt here is to end the game on a level playing field, now. Thus Bush's move is in line with the Editoral wish to get a fair count, a winner, and call it over.

If I'm right, a fair handcount of the whole state will prove Bush is the winner. If I'm right, Bush will be able to get one, and the outcome will then become clear, before it's actually done. Bush wins. Gore will see it coming and concede even while holding a temporary and incomplete-count lead in Fla.

On that note, anyone notice Warren Christofer referring to the "Bush ADMINISTRATION" today(before correcting himself)? Hmmmmm...maybe he sees the end game as I do now, too. Ha Ha, I could see dilly dalys wheels turning as he stood beside.."good lord" he musta thought, "THAT'll be fodder for the media."

Hi Scott:
Heres my opinion:
Election result:
First count all US votes- Bush wins EC
2 nd count (manual where applicable)- Bush wins EC
3 d machine count in disputed county Bush wins EC
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO:
Lets manual recount ONLY 3 democratic counties selected by a Al Gore( sore loser) and verify the results by 2 Democrats and no Republicans.
And continue doing this until Gore wins since the law permits it, but if Bush tries to stop it or asks for a recount in Rep counties , then lie and say that Bush took the first legal actions.
This action( endless recounts of selected counties) is not the intent of any election law, it is grossly unfair and the public will know it, and would be pandemonium if applied nationwide. Some elections would never be resolved, complicated new rules would be needed to decide
who should be seated.
There has to be, and is, a cut-off date for voting and
which is COP on Nov 7 th.
This election is over, Bush wins, if someone wants to change the rules for next election good luck to them.
JMHO
