Dear Zonkie: Looks pretty bad doesnt it? Wonder why Bush won Texas with a COMMANDING majority and GORE lost Tennessee, his family PRIVATE DOMAIN for years. I was in Tennessee for 4 days two weeks before the election. I spoke to many Tennesseans, and I drove from east to west nearly the entire state. You would be AMAZED what they had to say about Gore, but then you have the vote to look at. Had it not been for machine politics in the capitol Gore would have REALLY lost big. Be careful what you read, I am a retired CPA and I can tell you numbers can be massaged to say almost anything. I wont comment on your reference further as I am not a Texan and I do not personally know the facts, but I will say, the Texans appeared to have commented adequately for all of us. JDN
