Puck, I agree, most of the fixed wireless broadband effort, including Nokia's, does seem to be focused on the business market. I assume that this is because it has higher margins.

Sprint is the only service provider that I know of making a big effort in the residential market. Beginning this summer they started deploying fixed wireless using the MMDS band. They have launched in Phoenix, Tucson, Detroit, Colorado Springs, Houston, San Jose, and parts of the San Francisco Bay area. They are accepting orders in Salt Lake, Seattle, Wichita, Denver, and parts of the Bay Area. They talk of providing both internet and phone service.
